Description
The Research Office for Governance Studies focuses on issues relating to governance, public policy, public law, the functioning of the State and its institutions, as well as the implementation of fundamental rights and the rule of law.
Particular emphasis is placed on comparative research, scholarly evaluation, the formulation of proposals for the improvement of the existing system, and the promotion of cooperation with universities, research centres, and academics/researchers in Cyprus and abroad. These objectives arepursued through publications, academic events, conferences, lectures, and the preparation of policy papers, including the submission of proposals for institutional and legislative reform.
