Stella Vosniadou is Professor of Education at Flinders University in Australia. She studied Philosophy at Brandeis University (1971), Psychology at Clark University (1979), and Psychology and Education at Columbia University (1974). She served as Professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for five years (1987–1992) and at the University of Athens for twenty-one years (1987–2013). She has also been a Visiting Professor or Member at several distinguished universities, including Carnegie Mellon University, Harvard University, the University of Adelaide, and Stanford University.
Stella Vosniadou is an internationally distinguished scholar in the broader field of cognitive science, with particular emphasis on its applications to education.
