Description
The Research Office for Advanced Research in Mathematical Statistics aims to advance research across a broad range of areas in Mathematical Statistics through the establishment of a high-calibre international research team comprising scholars affiliated with leading academic and research institutions in Cyprus and abroad.

The Office’s primary mission is to generate original research of the highest scientific quality and to disseminate its findings through monographs, edited volumes, and articles published in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals. In addition, the Office seeks to organise specialised research workshops and focused international conferences addressing current and emerging topics in Mathematical Statistics.

Conferences

The Office organises the international conference Recent Advances in Time Series (RATS 2026), held in Larnaca, Cyprus, on 17–20 June 2026, bringing together researchers and scientists from Cyprus and around the world to discuss recent developments in time series analysis and related areas of Mathematical Statistics.
